Process for Change/ Update Address and Other Details
- Please fill out this form in the case of the original applicant. Include the evidence of an address change or other information.

UIDAI allows users of Aadhaar cardsto change their address without needing documentation. Aadhaar cardholders were permitted to change their address, if they do not have evidence of their identity.
New Delhi: The Unique Identification Authority of India has temporarily shut down a vital feature that lets you alter your Aadhaar card's address without identity proof.
UIDAI lets users of Aadhaar cards to change their address without needing any documents. Aadhaar card holders are able to update their address, provided they agree to the authentication that the address verifyer. An address verifier could be a relative, friend, landlord or family member that will allow the Aadhaar card owner to utilize their address for proof.
UIDAI has stopped the feature. UIDAI provided a response to an Card user by tweeting the ability to update address on Aadhaar Card through the Address Validation Letter has been removed. UIDAI has requested Aadhaar issuers to remind the Aadhaar issuer to notify the user that they are able to change their address by using another accepted PoA document.

Passport
Statement/Passbook for Post Office Accounts
Driving licence
Water Bill (not more than 3 months)
Telephone Landline Bill (not older that 3 months)
A Credit Card statement (not more than 3 years old).
Photograph of signature and signature of official company registered on letterhead
Pensioner Card
Freedom Fighter Card
Kissan Passbook
Passport of Spouse
Documents of their parents (in cases of children)
Central/ State Govt. Awarded an allotment note to accommodate. (Not more than 3 years)
Bhamashah Card/Jan-Aadhaar card issued by the Governmentt. Rajasthan
Certificate issued by the Superintendent/ WardenMatron/ Head Of Institution of shelter homes recognized by UIDAI orphanages, etc. on UIDAI standard certificate format for enrolment/ update
